It’s amazing how life, and all aspects of it, progresses in rhythms and cycles. Think about it. Right now, your heart is beating at an exact pace know as circadian rhythm. How long was that last breath inhale? You didn’t think about it because your brain is taking care of that rhythm for you. So much of your life has been placed on a divine metronome. Let’s take it a step further. When was the last time you worried if the sun was going to rise? If spring was going to make its debut with warmer winds, refreshing rain, and all the new light and hope it brings? Or how about time? Have you ever lost sleep over the fact that time may decide to speed up and you could be late for work? Absolutely not! So much of the natural world is set to a divine watch. There are natural laws in the universe that take a miracle to break! God has placed a compass inside of you. It’s pointed at true north. He is going to get you home. And along the way, your life is going to be a great adventure. But how frustrating would it be to try and do this without a map or without a guide? Or heck, with no idea of where to go and what to do? Thankfully, you have all those things. Not only that, you can have these rhythms of life work for you, rather than working against them.
